Every manufacturer wants to mold more parts in less time. But, getting there isn't easy. Every molding operation is different. Some products work better with some materials and not as well with others. Temperature settings, cycle times, and product parameters vary widely.
Improving your results and boosting your ROI doesn't need to rely on chance. Read on to discover how the Stoner System can help you overcome your toughest molding challenges, improve your results, and boost your bottom line.
The cornerstone of Stoner's Molding System is our arsenal of proven products. We say proven because many of our best products were developed as a direct result of our working with customers like you.
For example, we recently developed a new mold cleaning formula for an automotive manufacturer to cut production time for their automotive headlamps. Prior to formulating this new mold cleaner, the company was experiencing resin build-up at the vents of the mold. Their attempts to correct the issue resulted in the need to clean their molds more often or significantly reduce the speed of their process. These workarounds considerably slowed production and cost the company both time and money.
Our in-house R&D experts were able to develop a more powerful cleaning spray that effectively blasted away the resin build-up. The formula is quick evaporating, dries quickly, and leaves no residue on molds. This product was so successful that we named it A499 and made it available to many other thermoplastics molding operations.
In addition to our ability to develop new formulations, we also carry a wide variety of products that promote greater efficiency and reduce costs, including:
Offered in both aerosol cans and bulk packaging, our water-based, solvent-based, silicone, and paintable formulations meet a variety of molding needs.
We carry both water-based, solvent-based mold cleaners, Non-Flammable and Non-Chlorinated formulas available in aerosol cans and bulk packaging.
We carry four rust preventative products, including two with an acid neutralizer to prevent damage from fingerprints and one long-term formulation with an indicator dye to help ensure consistent coverage and protection. All of our rust preventatives are available in aerosol cans or bulk packaging.

The next part of the Stoner System is product availability. We formulate and manufacture our own products, so we control the supply chain. That means our products are in-stock, ready to ship when our customers need them most.
We also manufacture our unique, proprietary formulations in small batches to ensure consistent quality.
Both of these facts translate to consistent product quality and availability, so you never run out of the products you need to optimize your molding process.
Developing and manufacturing the best products is only part of the Stoner story. The heart of the Stoner System is about providing expertise and value that translates into better results and increased ROI for our customers.
After all, what good do the best products do, if our customers don't know what they need?
The Stoner Molding team has been around for a long time. In fact, many of our team members have been working in various molding and manufacturing industries for more than 30 years.
Chances are if you're having an issue, we've seen it before, and we can help you solve it! We travel to manufacturing facilities all over the world to identify and troubleshoot problems, recommend process changes, or help our customers launch a whole new molding process.
In some cases, we'll enlist our R&D team to formulate a brand new product to handle the situation.
But, the goal for us is always the same. More parts. Less waste. More efficiency. When you get these basics right, the numbers automatically follow!
The final part of the Stoner System may not seem obvious, but it's crucial for continual improvement. We are always learning! We are active members of 10 trade organizations, including the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) and the Association of Rotational Molders (ARM).
Every day we're learning about environmentally responsible solutions to solve difficult problems, like the growing microplastics waste in our oceans. We're also participating in industry panels, making presentations, and consulting with our peers on industry trends and new technologies.
All of this knowledge translates to even more opportunities to help our customers find the best solutions for the challenges they face. Whether you need to reduce VOCs, want to learn more about water-based alternatives, or explore a faster way to clean rotational molds, chances are we're in touch with the latest trends in the industry.
As you can see, it's easier than ever to improve your results and increase your ROI when you work with Stoner. From our proven product line and in-house manufacturing to our expert guidance and industry knowledge, the Stoner System is here to help you mold more parts in less time!
