For example, we recently developed a new mold cleaning formula for an automotive manufacturer to cut production time for their automotive headlamps. Prior to formulating this new mold cleaner, the company was experiencing resin build-up at the vents of the mold. Their attempts to correct the issue resulted in the need to clean their molds more often or significantly reduce the speed of their process. These workarounds considerably slowed production and cost the company both time and money.

Our in-house R&D experts were able to develop a more powerful cleaning spray that effectively blasted away the resin build-up. The formula is quick evaporating, dries quickly, and leaves no residue on molds. This product was so successful that we named it A499 and made it available to many other thermoplastics molding operations.
