Quarryville, PA (February 2015) — Stoner Molding Solutions announces the acquisition of Specialty Products Company including the Honey Wax^® brand of premium paste and liquid mold release agents, the KantStik^® brand of semi-permanent release agents, the BuffAway^™ brand of water-based polishing compounds, and the Styrid^® brand of styrene suppressants.

Expanded Product Offering:
The acquisition of Specialty Products augments Stoner’s brand portfolio of mold releases and polishing compounds oriented primarily towards the composites industry.

Honey Wax^® has been the composites industry’s leading choice in premium mold release paste wax for over 25 years. Compounded with the purest grade carnauba wax, special binders and spreading agents, Honey Wax^® spreads faster, removes more easily, and yields higher luster than other paste mold releases. It’s a user friendly mold release that delivers perfect reproduction of detail again and again.

KantStik^® semi-permanent release agents that cure fast, save time, and yield exceptional part reproduction. They combine a sealer and release, which eliminates separate applications and provides a faster cure time than most releases.

BuffAway^™ compounds are a high quality, cost effective way to remove sanding scratches and leave a smooth high gloss finish on tool surfaces and finished parts. They are designed to work equally as well on polyester, vinyl ester, and epoxy gel coats as well as urethane coatings.
