Stoner Announces New TraSys 9825 Release Agent for Compression Molding
TraSys 9825 Safe for the Environment and Workplace
Quarryville, PA, USA (February 2016) – Stoner Molding Solutions has developed a new, water-based release for compression molding, TraSys 9825. The semi-permanent, solvent-free formula is designed specifically for hot mold applications allowing it to bake on to the tool. The heat-induced application increases production rates by eliminating the need to stop and apply release agents during each cycle as is common with many other products. Additionally, the water-based technology provides an environmentally-safe alternative to solvent-based release agents providing a cleaner, safer workplace.
Stoner TraSys 9825 is ideal for polyester, epoxy, and phenolic resins and offers a clean, non-oily, non-staining application that provides outstanding durability and anti-stick properties with a very low coefficient of friction.
Using Stoner TraSys 9825 provides increased production allowing for multiple molding cycles with a single application. The easy application provides increased release performance and part quality. Continued use has also been shown to preserve the life and quality of mold tooling.
